In July 2010 DairyTas organised Dairy Financial Health Management Seminars in Smithton, Deloraine and Branxholm. These were supported by Accountants Elphinstone Stevens, Dairy Consultants Basil Doonan and Penny Williams, Centrelink and RFCS plus the Banks. They concentrated on cashflow budgeting and linking the physical and financial management of the farm.
Presentations from the seminars are provided below along with a sample cashflow budget.
Dairy Farmers have the opportunity to participate in small regional groups to followup and implement these cashflow budget principles during the season.
